I found an interest in photography at a very early age. My father was an amateur photographer, so I had watched him using a camera. At about ten years old I discovered my grandfather’s KODAK 3A folding camera in a closet. Film was available at the local pharmacy, so I was off and running - without much of a clue. Actually I did a little reading on exposure, and was in the ballpark, so I got a few good images.
It was mysterious to be able to make images with light!
Jump ahead to 1975 when I began studying photography seriously. That in turn led me to receiving an MFA in photography and painting.
I have worked in black and white silver gelatin, Van Dyke Brown, Platinum and Palladium prints. My cameras progressed from 35mm to 4x5” to 8x10” view cameras. All of my photography work today is digital.
My paintings are abstracts, or inner landscapes. They are explorations in color, texture, and composition.
All prints are made by me on a Canon Pro-310 printer using Canon Prograf Lucia Pro II inks. Prints are printed on high quality archival paper. The surface is Luster, not high gloss (which may be special ordered).

I would recommend UV filtering glass for your frame; It adds additional protection.
